This is a beautiful shortest trekking you can do in Annapurna region, the trek is easy and much romantic walking through the beautiful villages. This trek showcases some of the best views of Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchare, especially from the Mardi Himal view point. It is a relatively easy walk meandering through villages and rhododendron forests. The trek will go up to 4599 meters maximum and the trek can be organized 3 to 4 days This short trek offers you magnificent views of Annapurna range as well as massive Dhaulagiri.

Outline itinerary

Day 01:Arrival to Kathmandu then check in hotel

Day 02:Transfer to Pokhara by flight, drive to Kande and trek to Deurali 2,232 m 3-4 hours

Day 03:Low Camp (3,050m) 6-7 hours trekking

Day 04:High Camp (3,500 m) 4 hours walking

Day 05:Walk to upper view point (4,200 m) 4 hours walking and trek to Low camp 4 hours walking.

Day 06:Sindhing village 1700 m 4-5 hours walk and then drive to Pokhara 4-5 hours

Day 07:Transfer to Kathmandu by flight

Day 08:Final departure

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival to Kathmandu then check in hotel

    Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Thai Nepal Travels. After picking up your luggage and look for our representative with a Thai Nepal Travels display board at the arrival gate. After that, you will be transferred to Hotel. After check-in, you can take a rest, hang around in the city - it all depends upon your interests and condition. In the evening we will organize a "Welcome Dinner" at an excellent traditional Nepalese Restaurant where you will enjoy Nepalese cultural programs as well as a fine meal.

  • Day 2: Transfer to Pokhara by flight, drive to Kande and trek to Deurali 2,232 m 3-4 hours

    Today after breakfast in the early morning we fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) take about 30 minutes. Pokhara is 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu it is tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites. After reaching to Pokhara we drive to Kande for 1 hours and trek to Deurali 2,232 m 3-4 hours

    We walk pass Australian camp and Pothana the beautiful village. On the way, we can enjoy great views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre), and Ganggapurna. Overnight in Deurali.

  • Day 3: Low Camp (3,050m) 6-7 hours trekking

    After breakfast We walked into the forest of Rhododendron. which is the national flower of Nepal. Through the peaceful forest, we will enjoy the views of the peaks Machhapuchare and Mardi Himal to Low Camp and stay overnight here. From Low Camp we see a beautiful view of Machhapuchare. (Fish tail) including the culture of the local people here.

  • Day 4: High Camp (3,500 m) 4 hours walking

    Today after breakfast we walked uphill along the ridge, through the forest, and the trees began to dwindle. The trail turns into a bush of Rhododendron. Along the way, if we are lucky, we may see peacocks. After that, we started our hike to the High Camp, where we stayed overnight. If the weather is clear and enough time left today We may go to the viewpoint. to watch the sunset.

  • Day 5: Walk to upper view point (4,200 m) 4 hours walking and trek to Low camp 4 hours walking.

    Today we hike up to view point, on the way up and down path and sometimes we come across narrow and steep paths. We walk through the meadow After that, walk up the narrow ridge to the viewpoint at this viewpoint. We will find the scenery It's amazingly beautiful.

    We can see Mt. Mardi Himal (5587 m), Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Hunchuli (6441 m), Baraha Sikkha ( Fang Peak) (7647 m), Tent Peak (5695 m), Singha Chuli (6501 m), Machhapuchare (6993 m) and other peaks. After admiring the beauty view and take a photo to keep as a souvenir. We walk back to High Camp, have breakfast. and continue walking down to Low Camp and stay overnight there.

  • Day 6: Sindhing village 1700 m 4-5 hours walk and then drive to Pokhara 4-5 hours

    Today, after breakfast, we headed for Siding Village, a quiet and beautiful village away from the hustle and bustle. which is the point where the main road cuts through, we took a jeep from this village to Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara, relax at your leisure or walk around shopping local products around Fewa Lake. We spent the night in Pokhara.

  • Day 7: Transfer to Kathmandu by flight

    In the morning, you will be transferred to the domestic airport and fly to Kathmandu, take a spectacular 40-minute flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu transfer to the Hotel. We can take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. If we want to explore any other areas of Kathmandu, we may do that today. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner hosted by Thai Nepal Travels to celebrate the successful completion of our trip. Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Day 8: Final departure

    Our 08 Days Mardi Himal Trek in Nepal come to an end today. A representative from Thai Nepal Travels and treks will take you to the airport approximately 2 hours before the scheduled flight. Your safety is of paramount concern while traveling with THAI NEPAL TRAVELS AND TREKS. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails traveling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, the health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.

For the person who cannot continue trek until the end of trekking in case of any reason, he/she please note that there will be no refund. In case of the flight delay/cancellation after finishing of the trek, you will be responsible for all your expenses. Please also note that you will not be entitled to any refund for the services (such as hotel, transport, flight, etc.) included in the package that you would not use later.

For all accommodations at Annapurna base camp trek are in local lodges on a twin, triple or four-bed sharing basis. If we prefer a single room, we may indicate our preference and get single rooms on request by paying a single supplement. However, there are several places that do not allow single accommodations in the Annapurna base camp.

 

Accommodations

We will be providing you at Hotel Marshyangdi or equivalent in Kathmandu, Hotel Crystal Palace or equivalent in Pokhara and teahouses during the trek. All accommodations are on a twin-shared basis. Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional.

Meals

During the trek, you can enjoy authentic Nepalese food as well the more common international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, etc.). Breakfast and dinner will be served from the tea-houses or from a lodge menu where we spend the night whereas lunch will be served on the way to the next destination. All meals will be provided during trekking while only breakfast will be available while in Kathmandu and Pokhara. There will also be welcome and farewell dinners for guests.
