Mt. Annapurna l (8,091m) is the 10th highest mountain in the world and the journey to its base camp is one of the most popular treks on earth. Like any other trip in the Annapurna region. It lies on the hill of Annapurna south with rich mountain vistas, terraced fields, quaint Gurung village. Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m)

Day 02:Fly to Pokhara Drive to Matkyu by jeep (3 hrs.) Trek start from Matkyu to Chhomrong (2055 m/ 4-5 hrs.)

Day 03:Dovan (2,5440m): 4-5 hours

Day 04:Deurali 3210: 4 - 5 hours

Day 05:Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m): 5- 6 hours

Day 06:Bamboo: 7 – 8 hours

Day 07:Jhinu Danda (1,760m): 5 - 6 hours

Day 08:Forest camp (2,500m/8,200 ft), 7 hours

Day 09:Low Camp (3,035m/9,955 ft), 4 hrs walk

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m)

    Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Thai Nepal Travels. After picking up your luggage and look for our representative with a Thai Nepal Travels display board at the arrival gate. After that, you will be transferred to Hotel. After check-in, you can take a rest, hang around in the city - it all depends upon your interests and condition. In the evening we will organize a "Welcome Dinner" at an excellent traditional Nepalese Restaurant where you will enjoy Nepalese cultural programs as well as a fine meal.

  • Day 2: Fly to Pokhara Drive to Matkyu by jeep (3 hrs.) Trek start from Matkyu to Chhomrong (2055 m/ 4-5 hrs.)

    Today after breakfast in the early morning we fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) take about 30 minutes. Pokhara is 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu it is tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites. After reaching to Pokhara we drive to Matkyu for 3 hours and trek to Chhomrong (2055 m/ 4-5 hrs.).

    We walk pass upper Modi valley, the path then starts the long ascent high above the west bank of the Modi Khola. We then arrive in the village of Chomrong is the last permanent settlement in the valley. On the way, we can enjoy great views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre), and Ganggapurna. Overnight in Chhorong.

  • Day 3: Dovan (2,5440m): 4-5 hours

    Today after breakfast we follow the trail down to Chomrong Khola on steep stones. The path then starts the long ascent high above the west bank of the Modi Khola. We walk past Next, it’s a steep descent that takes us to the Kimrong Khola. After another steep ascent from Kimrong Khola to Chere Danda, we descend for a while then it’s a gentle walk to Upper Sinuwa is a beautiful village located on the lap of the giant Annapurna massive. Then the path starts to go up through the bamboo, oak, and rhododendron forests. we continue our trek pass through rhododendron forest to Kuldi (2,470m). We are continues onto Bamboo (2,310m) through an uninhabited forest area, scattered with big rocks. continue our trek to Dovan at the gateway to the sanctuary. From Bamboo, the road will take us through bamboo and rhododendron forests to Dovan (2,5440m).

  • Day 4: Deurali 3210: 4 - 5 hours

    Today we continue our trek pass through rhododendron forest to Kuldi (2,470m). We are continues onto Bamboo (2,310m) through an uninhabited forest area, scattered with big rocks. continue our trek to Deurali at the gateway to the sanctuary. From Bamboo, the road will take us through bamboo and rhododendron forests to Dovan (2,5440m).

    And after climbing 300 meters up we will first place the Himalayan Hotel at 2840 meters. We reach Himalayan and continue our walk we reach Hinko Cave (3100m) and then onto Deurali. During the day if we are lucky we can see interesting wildlife like deer, jackals, and peacocks. Here we will also have great views of Machhapuchhare Mountain (6997m). We stay overnight in Deurali.

  • Day 5: Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m): 5- 6 hours

    Today we climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail over to the mountainside. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous. From Machhapuchhre base camp, we get excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli, and Gangapurna which is certainly a rewarding experience.

    The vegetation disappears on our way to ABC and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna sanctuary. From here, we get sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. The sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding the 360-degree panorama. From the base camp, we again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and other peaks. Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp.

  • Day 6: Bamboo: 7 – 8 hours

    Today we follow our way back to Bamboo, the trek is downhill, so it shouldn’t be very difficult we descend most part of our route to Bamboo. We are overnight at Bamboo.

  • Day 7: Jhinu Danda (1,760m): 5 - 6 hours

    From Bamboo, it is an uphill trek to Kuldighar followed by a downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola. Then we climb the stone steps to Chhomrong.

    The trail then descends to Jhinu Danda, where we will be resting for the night. Today we will have an opportunity to enjoy the hot springs which are just a 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda to soothe our aching bodies. We are overnight at Jhinu Danna.

  • Day 8: Forest camp (2,500m/8,200 ft), 7 hours

    We set off from the village of Jhinu Danda, enjoy the beautiful hilly landscapes of Western Nepal. We had lunch along the way at the village of Landuk. After that, we walked through the thick forest. that is still abundant and biodiversity to the forest camp along the way, we will enjoy the view of the peaks of Mt. Machhapuchare and Mardi Himal. Overnight in Low Camp

  • Day 9: Low Camp (3,035m/9,955 ft), 4 hrs walk

    After breakfast We walked into the forest of Rhododendron. which is the national flower of Nepal. Through the peaceful forest, we will enjoy the views of the peaks Machhapuchare and Mardi Himal to Low Camp and stay overnight here. From Low Camp we see a beautiful view of Machhapuchare. (Fish tail) including the culture of the local people here.

  • Day 10: High Camp (3,150m) 5-6 hours trekking.

    Today after breakfast we walked uphill along the ridge, through the forest, and the trees began to dwindle. The trail turns into a bush of Rhododendron. Along the way, if we are lucky, we may see peacocks. After that, we started our hike to the High Camp, where we stayed overnight. If the weather is clear and enough time left today We may go to the viewpoint. to watch the sunset.

  • Day 11: Walk to upper view point (4,200 m) 4 hours walking and trek to Low camp 6 hours walking.

    Today we hike up to view point, on the way up and down path and sometimes we come across narrow and steep paths. We walk through the meadow After that, walk up the narrow ridge to the viewpoint at this viewpoint. We will find the scenery It's amazingly beautiful.

    We can see Mt. Mardi Himal (5587 m), Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Hunchuli (6441 m), Baraha Sikkha ( Fang Peak) (7647 m), Tent Peak (5695 m), Singha Chuli (6501 m), Machhapuchare (6993 m) and other peaks. After admiring the beauty view and take a photo to keep as a souvenir. We walk back to High Camp, have breakfast. and continue walking down to Low Camp and stay overnight there.

  • Day 12: Sidhing 4-5 hours and drive to Pokhara 4 hours

    Today, after breakfast, we headed for Siding Village, a quiet and beautiful village away from the hustle and bustle. which is the point where the main road cuts through, we took a jeep from this village to Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara, relax at your leisure or walk around shopping local products around Fewa Lake. We spent the night in Pokhara.

  • Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu

    n the morning, you will be transferred to the domestic airport and fly to Kathmandu, take a spectacular 40-minute flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu transfer to the Hotel. We can take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. If we want to explore any other areas of Kathmandu, we may do that today. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner hosted by Thai Nepal Travels to celebrate the successful completion of our trip. Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Day 14: Final Departure

    Our 14 Days Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal come to an end today. A representative from Thai Nepal Travels and Treks will take you to the airport approximately 2 hours before the scheduled flight. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails traveling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, the health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.

For the person who cannot continue trek until the end of trekking in case of any reason, he/she please note that there will be no refund. In case of the flight delay/cancellation after finishing of the trek, you will be responsible for all your expenses. Please also note that you will not be entitled to any refund for the services (such as hotel, transport, flight, etc.) included in the package that you would not use later.

For all accommodations at Annapurna base camp trek are in local lodges on a twin, triple or four-bed sharing basis. If we prefer a single room, we may indicate our preference and get single rooms on request by paying a single supplement. However, there are several places that do not allow single accommodations in the Annapurna base camp.



We will be providing you at Hotel Marshyangdi or equivalent in Kathmandu, Hotel Crystal Palace or equivalent in Pokhara and teahouses during the trek. All accommodations are on a twin-shared basis. Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional.


During the trek, you can enjoy authentic Nepalese food as well the more common international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, etc.). Breakfast and dinner will be served from the tea-houses or from a lodge menu where we spend the night whereas lunch will be served on the way to the next destination. All meals will be provided during trekking while only breakfast will be available while in Kathmandu and Pokhara. There will also be welcome and farewell dinners for guests.
