Darjeeling is a town and a municipality in the Indian state of West Bengal.It is located in the Lesser Himalayas at an elevation of 6,700 ft (2,042.2 m). Darjeeling also was known as "Queen of hill stations" and famous for its tea production. 

Gangtok is a municipality, the capital and the largest town of the Indian state of Sikkim. It also is the headquarters of the East Sikkim district. Gangtok is located in the eastern Himalayan range, at an elevation of 1,650 m (5,410 ft). The town's population of 100,000 belongs to different ethnicities such as Nepali, Lepchas, and Bhutia. Nestled within higher peaks of the Himalaya and enjoying a year-round mild temperate climate, Gangtok is at the center of Sikkim's tourism industry.

The Himalayas and the Kanchenjunga may be viewed at close quarters from Pelling. Pelling is a town in the district of West Sikkim, India. It is nestled at an altitude of 2,150 m (7,200 feet). The town is located at a distance of 10 km from the district headquarters of Geyzing.Places to visit in and around Pelling include the local monasteries namely the ancient Pemayangtse Monastery and Sanga Choeling Monastery, the rock garden and waterfall at nearby Rimbi River, the holy rock of Rani Dhunga, the imposing double-pronged Kanchenjungha Falls, the archaic quaint Singshore Bridge, the Chhange Waterfalls, and the Khecheopalri Lake holy to Buddhists.

Day 01:New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok (125 km. / 4 hrs.)

Day 02:Day Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Day 03:Gangtok Local Sightseeing - Pelling (120 Km. / 5 hrs.)

Day 04:Pelling Sightseeing

Day 05:Pelling - Darjeeling (109 km. /4 hrs.)

Day 06:Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Day 07:Darjeeling – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra airport (98 km. / 3 hrs.)

    • The difference in cost arising due to mishaps, political unrest, natural calamities like - landslides, road blockage, etc. In such case, extra will have to be paid on the spot by the guest directly.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1: New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok (125 km. / 4 hrs.)

    Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

  • Day 2: Day Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

    After a delightful breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 km. one way from Gangtok city. Evening at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok. (In case of Landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.)

  • Day 3: Gangtok Local Sightseeing - Pelling (120 Km. / 5 hrs.)

    This morning, after breakfast, start for a half day trip to Gangtok city covering Ranka Monastery Banzakhri Falls, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Flower show, Dro-dul Chorten& Institute of Tibetology (maximum 3-4 hours). Afternoon, transfer to Pelling (6,100 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Spend overnight at hotel in Pelling.

  • Day 4: Pelling Sightseeing

    After a delightful breakfast start for full day sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In afternoon start for the 2nd half tour -Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Halipad Ground. Evening at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Pelling.

  • Day 5: Pelling - Darjeeling (109 km. /4 hrs.)

    Today, after breakfast transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at
    Leisure. Stroll in the Mall by your own. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.

  • Day 6: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

    Witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak at around 4 am) at Tiger Hill in the early morning (subject to weather condition); thrill yourself by visiting World famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda. In evening explore the Mall on your own & shop around. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.

  • Day 7: Darjeeling – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra airport (98 km. / 3 hrs.)

    Our tours come to an end today. A representative from Thai Nepal Travels will take you to the train station or airport approximately 2 hours before the scheduled flight or train. For traveling in Innova guest has to carry minimum one luggage per person. Two Luxury vehicle cost on request. Other all packages for 01-03 peoples by Indica /Omni/Wagon-R and 04-08 Persons Sumo/Max (Including Paying Child).

Please note that as per the Government Rule in this region one Tata Sumo /Similar Maximum 08 Persons. Are allowed that is including of child. In case the number of heads traveling increases above 08 pax, then 2 the guests will take 2 vehicles Tata Sumo/Max.
