Darjeeling is a town and a municipality in the Indian state of West Bengal.It is located in the Lesser Himalayas at an elevation of 6,700 ft (2,042.2 m). Darjeeling also was known as "Queen of hill stations" and famous for its tea production. 

Gangtok is a municipality, the capital and the largest town of the Indian state of Sikkim. It also is the headquarters of the East Sikkim district. Gangtok is located in the eastern Himalayan range, at an elevation of 1,650 m (5,410 ft). The town's population of 100,000 belongs to different ethnicities such as Nepali, Lepchas, and Bhutia. Nestled within higher peaks of the Himalaya and enjoying a year-round mild temperate climate, Gangtok is at the center of Sikkim's tourism industry.

Kalimpong is known for its educational institutions. It is a hill station in the Indian state of West Bengal, located at an average elevation of 1,250 meters (4,101 ft).The town is the headquarters of the Kalimpong district.The Indian Army's 27 Mountain Division is located on the outskirts of the town.

The Himalayas and the Kanchenjunga may be viewed at close quarters from Pelling. Pelling is a town in the district of West Sikkim, India. It is nestled at an altitude of 2,150 m (7,200 feet). The town is located at a distance of 10 km from the district headquarters of Geyzing.Places to visit in and around Pelling include the local monasteries namely the ancient Pemayangtse Monastery and Sanga Choeling Monastery, the rock garden and waterfall at nearby Rimbi River, the holy rock of Rani Dhunga, the imposing double-pronged Kanchenjungha Falls, the archaic quaint Singshore Bridge, the Chhange Waterfalls, and the Khecheopalri Lake holy to Buddhists.

Day 01:New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok (125 km. / 4 hrs.)

Day 02:Day Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Day 03:Gangtok Local Sightseeing - Pelling (120 Km. / 5 hrs.)

Day 04:Pelling Sightseeing

Day 05:Pelling - Darjeeling (109 Km. / 4 hrs.)

Day 06:Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Day 07:Darjeeling – Kalimpong (57 km. / 2 ½ hrs.) Sightseeing

Day 08:Kalimpong – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra airport (75 km. / 3 hrs.)

    • The difference in cost arising due to mishaps, political unrest, natural calamities like - landslides, road blockage, etc. In such case, extra will have to be paid on the spot by the guest directly.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1: New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok (125 km. / 4 hrs.)

    Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

  • Day 2: Day Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

    After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 km. one way from Gangtok city. Evening at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok. (In case of Landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.)

  • Day 3: Gangtok Local Sightseeing - Pelling (120 Km. / 5 hrs.)

    Today, after breakfast, start for a half day trip to Gangtok city covering Ranka Monastery, Banzakhri Falls, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Flower show, Dro-dul Chorten & Institute of Tibetology (maximum 3-4 hours). Afternoon drive to Pelling (6,100 ft.).On arrival check-in to your hotel. Evening at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Pelling.

  • Day 4: Pelling Sightseeing

    After a delightful breakfast start for full day sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake &Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In the afternoon start for the 2nd half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, and New Helipad Ground. Evening at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Pelling.

  • Day 5: Pelling - Darjeeling (109 Km. / 4 hrs.)

    After a sumptuous breakfast drive to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Evening explores the Mall by your own. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.

  • Day 6: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

    Witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak at around 4 am) at Tiger Hill in the early morning (subject to weather condition); thrill yourself by visiting World famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda. In evening explore the Mall on your own & shop around. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.

  • Day 7: Darjeeling – Kalimpong (57 km. / 2 ½ hrs.) Sightseeing

    After a delightful breakfast drive to Kalimpong (4,100 ft.). On arrival check into your hotel. Afternoon in visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hills, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hill & Flower Nurseries. Spend overnight at hotel in Kalimpong.

  • Day 8: Kalimpong – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra airport (75 km. / 3 hrs.)

    Our tours come to an end today. A representative from Thai Nepal Travels will take you to the train station or airport approximately 2 hours before the scheduled flight or train.
