Darjeeling is a town and a municipality in the Indian state of West Bengal.It is located in the Lesser Himalayas at an elevation of 6,700 ft (2,042.2 m). Darjeeling also was known as "Queen of hill stations" and famous for its tea production. 

Gangtok is a municipality, the capital and the largest town of the Indian state of Sikkim. It also is the headquarters of the East Sikkim district. Gangtok is located in the eastern Himalayan range, at an elevation of 1,650 m (5,410 ft). The town's population of 100,000 belongs to different ethnicities such as Nepali, Lepchas, and Bhutia. Nestled within higher peaks of the Himalaya and enjoying a year-round mild temperate climate, Gangtok is at the center of Sikkim's tourism industry.

Day 01:NJP Rly. Stn. / IXB Airport – Darjeeling (About 90 km. / 03 Hrs. drives)

Day 02:Darjeeling (Local sightseeing)

Day 03:Darjeeling – Gangtok (About 115km/ 04 Hrs. drive) & Gangtok sightseeing

Day 04:Gangtok Sightseeing - Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Day 05:Gangtok – NJP Rly Stn /IXB Airport (About 125 km. / 04 Hrs. drive)

Cost includes:

Cost Excludes:

    • India visa
    • Cost for Airfare, Train fare, Insurance Premiums, Rafting Charges.
    • Cost for service provided on guest’s personal request.
    • Cost for personal expenses such as laundry, packaged drinking water, soft drinks, porter charges, tips etc.
    • The difference in cost arising due to change in Taxes by the Government which will have to be collected directly ON ARRIVAL.
    • The difference in cost arising due to the extra usage of the vehicle, other than scheduled & mentioned in the itinerary.
    • The difference in cost arising due to mishaps, political unrest, natural calamities like - landslides, road blockage, etc. In such case, extra will have to be paid on the spot by the guest directly.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1: NJP Rly. Stn. / IXB Airport – Darjeeling (About 90 km. / 03 Hrs. drives)

    Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport, transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.), situated in West Bengal. Check-in to hotel & rest of the day is free at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.

  • Day 2: Darjeeling (Local sightseeing)

    Witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak at around 4 am) at Tiger Hill in the early morning (subject to weather condition); thrill yourself by visiting World famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda. In evening explore the Mall on your own & shop around. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.

  • Day 3: Darjeeling – Gangtok (About 115km/ 04 Hrs. drive) & Gangtok sightseeing

    After a delightful breakfast drive to Gangtok. Check-in to your hotel. Afternoon visit Ranka Monastery, Banjhakri Falls, Dro-DulChorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre. Evening free at leisure or you can enjoy shopping. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

  • Day 4: Gangtok Sightseeing - Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

    After a sumptuous breakfast visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 km. one way from Gangtok city. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok. (If due to landslide or bad road condition Tsomgo Lake is closed then alternate sightseeing will be provided)

  • Day 5: Gangtok – NJP Rly Stn /IXB Airport (About 125 km. / 04 Hrs. drive)

    Our tours come to an end today. A representative from Thai Nepal Travels will take you to the train station or airport approximately 2 hours before the scheduled flight or train. For traveling in Innova guest has to carry minimum one luggage per person. Two Luxury vehicle cost on request. Other all packages for 01-03 peoples by Indica /Omni/Wagon-R and 04-08 Persons Sumo/Max (Including Paying Child).

Please note that as per the Government Rule in this region one Tata Sumo /Similar Maximum 08 Persons. Are allowed that is including of child. In case the number of heads traveling increases above 08 pax, then 2 the guests will take 2 vehicles Tata Sumo/Max.
