Darjeeling is a town and a municipality in the Indian state of West Bengal.It is located in the Lesser Himalayas at an elevation of 6,700 ft (2,042.2 m). Darjeeling also was known as "Queen of hill stations" and famous for its tea production. 

Gangtok is a municipality, the capital and the largest town of the Indian state of Sikkim. It also is the headquarters of the East Sikkim district. Gangtok is located in the eastern Himalayan range, at an elevation of 1,650 m (5,410 ft). The town's population of 100,000 belongs to different ethnicities such as Nepali, Lepchas, and Bhutia. Nestled within higher peaks of the Himalaya and enjoying a year-round mild temperate climate, Gangtok is at the center of Sikkim's tourism industry.

Kalimpong is known for its educational institutions. It is a hill station in the Indian state of West Bengal, located at an average elevation of 1,250 meters (4,101 ft).The town is the headquarters of the Kalimpong district.The Indian Army's 27 Mountain Division is located on the outskirts of the town.

Outline itinerary

Day 01:New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Darjeeling (98 km. / 3 hrs.)

Day 02:Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Day 03:Darjeeling – Kalimpong (57 km. / 2 ½ hrs.) Sightseeing

Day 04:Kalimpong – Gangtok (78 km. / 3 hrs.) Local Sightseeing

Day 05:Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Day 06:Gangtok – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (125 km. / 4 hrs.)

    • The difference in cost arising due to mishaps, political unrest, natural calamities like - landslides, road blockage, etc. In such case, extra will have to be paid on the spot by the guest directly.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1: New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Darjeeling (98 km. / 3 hrs.)

    Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.

  • Day 2: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

    Witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak at around 4 am) at Tiger Hill in the early morning (subject to weather condition); thrill yourself by visiting World famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda. In evening explore the Mall on your own & shop around. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.

  • Day 3: Darjeeling – Kalimpong (57 km. / 2 ½ hrs.) Sightseeing

    After your delightful Breakfast transfer to Kalimpong (4,100 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Afternoon enjoys a half day tour of Kalimpong Visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills & Flowers Nurseries. Spend overnight at hotel in Kalimpong.

  • Day 4: Kalimpong – Gangtok (78 km. / 3 hrs.) Local Sightseeing

    After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Afternoon proceeds for a half day city tour visiting Ranka Monetary, Banzakhri Falls, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Flower show, Dro-dulChorten & Institute of Tibetology (maximum 3-4 hours). Evening at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

  • Day 5: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

    After a sumptuous breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 km. one way from Gangtok city. Evening at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok. (In case of Landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.)

  • Day 6: Gangtok – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (125 km. / 4 hrs.)

    Our tours come to an end today. A representative from Thai Nepal Travels will take you to the train station or airport approximately 2 hours before the scheduled flight or train. Our Imperial Package includes Luxury vehicle like AC Scorpio/Innova/Xylo/Tavera/Grande (for 02-06 Persons– Including paying child). AC will not work in the hill area. For traveling in Innova guest has to carry minimum one luggage per person. Two Luxury vehicle cost on request. Other all packages for 01-03 peoples by Indica /Omni/Wagon-R and 04-08 Persons Sumo/Max (Including Paying Child).

Please note that as per the Government Rule in this region one Tata Sumo /Similar Maximum 08 Persons. Are allowed that is including of child. In case the number of heads traveling increases above 08 pax, then 2 the guests will take 2 vehicles Tata Sumo/Max.
